Clifton Inn is such a romantic location. It reminded a bit of an English garden.

Their food is so delicate and…. delicious!



The Clifton Inn also bakes wedding cakes.

I love that you can see the kitchen and watch the chefs work. I always loved being in Restaurant kitchen, I guess it comes form the fact that my grand father was a chef. I find it fascinating to watch a meal being made from beginning to end.

Long tables are so convivial, it reminds me of French dinners.

How sweet that Trisha’s grand father sang them a love song….a very tender moment.

Hope and Eric decided to see each other before the ceremony for a “first Look” session. I always love documenting this special moment between the bride and groom.
Though windy and a bit chilly, the weather was perfect, which made it for a memorable day. The reception was elegant and fun with a dinner of lobster and filet mignon, s’mores and mini croque monsieur served at the later hours. They danced until it was time to move to the testing room for an after party gathering. I love how it was only lit with candles and then exited on sparklers!

Sarah and Daniel got married at the UVA Chapel and then had their reception at the UVA Alumni Hall.  Sarah got ready in a fantastic house they rented for the week end in Belmont. After the ceremony we took some pictures around the UVA grounds and gardens.  Hedge did the gorgeous flowers for the ladies and Derek ftom DJ Tobler provided non stop dancing through out the night.
The delicious “Peach melba cake” comes from Horse and Hound. 

Boys will be boys.

I love couple who takes initiative. I just asked them if they did not mind sitting and just like that, they laid down and gave me this super romantic shot….I think.
